Our First Event of the year will the National Reenactment of the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh. Many of you will be riding to Shiloh via the Troop Train. If you need tickets or info on the troop train ask Captain Bob or Larry Yeatman for who to contact. Shiloh will be a major effort for transporting horses etc. If you are a mounted trooper be preparred to travel on Tuesday March 27th. If dismounted, you should be ok to travel on Wednesday March 28th. Tacticals and the War begins on Thursday, March 29th! If you want to play Yankee, there will be a recreation of the Yankees landing at Pittsburg Landing via riverboats. You can then tactical thru the National Park and camp overnight in the park. No tentage etc, you will have to live with what you can carry. You can do that mounted or dismounted.
