ELLIOTT'S SCOUTS LAUNDRESSES

  Attached to our company is our Laundresses unit as prescribed by Army regulations. This creates a historically accurate impression and an important part of the Scouts.  Our wives, daughters and friends often portray the refugees so very common in western Missouri. 

During the day, the Laundresses are the major players in living history camp life or play refugees in event scenarios.  In the evening, they can often can be found at the dances and balls.

You must be 16 years of age or older to join the Laundress unit. Anyone under the age of 16 must join with a parent or guardian 21 or older. Parent or guardian will be present and responsible for their laundresses under the age of 16 at events.
